Inventory Auditor (Warehouse Operations)
About the company:
Join a tech-enabled B2B platform that aims to improve service levels and expand access to new services for over one million sari-sari stores in the Philippines. The company provides infrastructure and tools to transform these stores into comprehensive service hubs for grassroots communities. The platform offers affordable inventory, working capital loans to sari-sari store owners, whilst generating crucial data and insights for manufacturers and distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cycle count at least 2-3 times a week at our Central Hub (Laguna) and wall to wall count once a month.
- Ensure accuracy in inventory counts, audit variances, discover discrepancies, and recommend strategies to improve accuracy.
- Ensure compliance of warehouses with inventory management guidelines and SOPs.
- Conduct inventory management training for inventory supervisors.
- Prepare audit reports for management review.
Qualifications:
- Preferably living in Canlubang, Laguna
- Has a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or in any related field
- 2-3 years background as an internal or external auditor with focus on warehousing, logistics, or e-commerce industry
- Willingness to travel and conduct inventory audits at our warehouses in Luzon as needed (at least 2-4 warehouses per month)
- Must be amenable to early inventory count schedule (estimated counting time between 5AM to 7AM)
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work on deadlines, under pressure
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of the team
