The company provides infrastructure and tools to transform these stores into comprehensive service hubs for grassroots communities. The platform offers affordable inventory, working capital loans to sari-sari store owners, whilst generating crucial data and insights for manufacturers and distributors.
Job Summary:
The Accounting Manager will assist the Financial Controller in managing the accounting function and maintaining the integrity of the books through a timely and accurate closing process, optimized workflows and processes, and strong internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting and Reporting: Helps manage the timely and accurate monthly closing of the books and prepare various reports as needed by management
- Helps ensure complete expense accounting, accruals in books, and monthly review of month end accruals in books
- Ensures timely and accurate billing to customers
- Leads the monthly review and reconciliation of various Income Statement and Balance sheet accounts which may include Sales and related Customer Points, COS, Inventory, Interco, PPE and ROU, and other accounts
- Leads the team in handling annual financial audits for the different subsidiaries
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to local tax regulations, accounting standards, and internal company policies.
- Internal Controls: Establish and enforce robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risks.
- Process improvements: Provides and implements recommendations for streamlining accounting functions and operations and to enhance the organization’s overall financial discipline and overall efficiency
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and help develop 5 N-1s under the finance team to optimize financial operations and processes.
- Provides adhoc financial reports and analysis / leads adhoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications, Certifications And Education Requirements:
- CPA with 6-8 years of accounting experience, with at least 4 years in a team leader/supervisory position
- Industry Knowledge: FMCG industry experience is a strong advantage; familiarity with retail and e commerce is plus.
- E-Commerce Expertise: Strong understanding of digital sales channels and modern trade operations.
- Technical Skills: Experience with reconciliations and Netsuite is an advantage.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams in dynamic, growth-oriented environments.
