Job Summary:

The Junior Accountant will support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and bookkeeping. This role involves assisting with month-end closing, preparing financial statements, and providing analytical support to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform bookkeeping functions, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by reconciling accounts and ensuring accuracy.
• Help in budget preparation and variance analysis to track financial performance.
• Assist in financial modeling and data analysis to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Work closely with other departments to gather financial data and improve reporting accuracy.
• Support the FP&A Manager in ad hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks.
• Maintain financial records and documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a plus. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and bookkeeping principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
