A growing tech-enabled B2B platform aims to improve service levels and expand access to new services for over one million sari-sari stores in the Philippines. The company provides infrastructure and tools to transform these stores into comprehensive service hubs for grassroots communities. The platform offers affordable inventory, working capital loans to sari-sari store owners, whilst generating crucial data and insights for manufacturers and distributors.
Job summary:
The Supply Planner is responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply planning activities to ensure timely and efficient product availability across the MFC (Mirco Fulfillment Center). This role involves creating optimal replenishment plans for FMCG vendors, balancing service level targets, inventory days, and cost efficiency. The planner serves as the primary liaison for vendor-related concerns, monitors key supply metrics such as fill rate and OTIF (On-Time In-Full) for both Central Hub and Direct supply models, and addresses supply-related out-of-stock (OOS) issues. The role also includes facilitating cross-functional meetings to resolve demand and supply constraints and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the supply planning process.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead daily supply planning operations, including coordination with FMCG vendors and resolution of vendor-related issues.
- Develop and maintain optimal order plans to ensure excellent service levels, appropriate inventory days coverage, and alignment with cost targets.
- Monitor and manage vendor performance metrics, including fill rate and OTIF (On-Time In-Full), across both Central Hub (CH) and Direct channels; proactively address any supply-related out-of-stock (OOS) situations.
- Facilitate regular area meetings to identify and resolve demand and supply constraints, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the overall supply planning function.

- Weighted SKU Availability per MFC (Top, All, Absolute)
- Out Of Stock Rate
- WH unserved, WH variances
- Utilization of WHs in CBM and shipment coordination
- Projection of OOS (Forecast supportability)
- Depletion of overstock
- Support for promotion and NPIs
Qualifications:
- At least 1 to 4 years’ experience in Supply Chain Planning of a FMCG environment
- Strong background in Supply Planning/ Material Requirements Planning and other operations management concepts (Vendor Relations Management and Capacity Planning).
- Flexible and above-average computer literacy (effective use of Microsoft Office such as PowerPoint and Excel and Google Applications such as Google Meet and Sheets)
- Output-oriented with a keen eye for details.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Highly Resourceful, self-motivated, and analytical.
- Good and effective interpersonal and communication skills; must be able to interact with various functions and cultures.
