Job Summary:
Labor Relations:
- Provide legal advice on employment and labor law matters.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing employment contracts, company policies, and disciplinary notices.
- Support HR in handling employee concerns, investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Represent the company in administrative hearings and labor-related proceedings (e.g., DOLE, NLRC).
- Monitor updates in labor regulations and help ensure ongoing compliance.
General Legal Support:
- Draft, review, and revise contracts, agreements, and internal legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memos, opinions, and reports.
- Assist with regulatory filings, permits, and other compliance matters.
- Coordinate with external counsel when needed.
- Support internal departments with legal queries and risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor degree.
- Must be a licensed lawyer in the Philippines.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to labor law or employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and employment practices.
- Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
