This role will focus on their business unit, which specializes in premium spirits in the Philippines, serving both on-premise (bars, restaurants, clubs) and off-premise (retail) channels. Job Summary:
This role oversees commercial activities across the APAC region, focusing on growth, profitability, and strong client relationships. Based in the Philippines, the role involves implementing approved business strategies, identifying new opportunities, and managing trade and distribution projects throughout APAC.
1. Distributor Management
- Oversee contracts and relationships with distributors, including special arrangements like S&R.
- Set and monitor distributor goals and targets to achieve annual sales objectives.
- Track sales depletion, customer SIT, and competitor activities.
- Implement consistent merchandising, planograms, SKU channel strategies, and maintain pricing objectives.
- Conduct regular bi-weekly meetings, periodic trade visits, and QBRs with distributors and APAC leadership.
2. Sales & Growth
- Achieve annual company sales targets and drive volume growth.
- Collaborate with distributors and key accounts for annual volume forecasts.
- Expand SKU listings, secure retail displays/signage, and sell promotional packs and new products.
- Work with marketing on trade deals, budgets, and proposals.
- Generate opportunities and maintain a pipeline of leads for key accounts.
3. Account Universe Management
- Grow and maintain the account universe through customer engagement and tracking.
- Prepare account reports, segmentation analysis, and ensure store listing compliance.
- Support account retention and maintain updated account templates.
4. Customer Engagement
- Conduct monthly store checks across the retail universe.
- Organize training for key retail and off-premise accounts as needed.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with key retail and off-premise customers.
Requirements:
- College graduate (marketing experience a plus).
- Minimum 5 years sales experience (local/regional/global).
- Proficient in MS Office or G Suite; strong time management and communication skills.
- Independent, team player, with leadership traits and brand/business understanding.
