As a Sales/Growth Manager, you’ll play a critical role in expanding Chalo’s footprint across the Philippines by building a strong pipeline of buses and modern PUVs, enabling seamless adoption of our passenger app.
Role Overview:
As a Sales Manager for North Luzon, you will be responsible for assessing your assigned region, identifying business opportunities, and driving bus and modern PUV partnerships. This role requires extensive fieldwork, adaptability, and strong relationship-building skills to onboard as many vehicles as possible, ensuring a successful consumer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for onboarding bus and modern PUV operators.
- Build and manage a pipeline of potential partners, ensuring a steady flow of fleet acquisitions.
- Conduct on-ground assessments and field visits to understand market dynamics and operator needs.
- Negotiate and close deals with operators, ensuring seamless onboarding into the Chalo ecosystem.
- Collaborate with internal teams (tech, operations, and marketing) to drive successful deployments.
- Monitor market trends, competition, and regulatory changes to refine growth strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Educational attainment: Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Proven sales or business development experience (preferably in mobility, logistics, fintech, or tech-driven industries). At least 3 years experience in sales.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills to engage operators effectively.
- Willingness to travel extensively and do fieldwork to develop a deep understanding of the market.
- Agility and adaptability to navigate a fast-paced, evolving industry.
- Goal-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed onboarding targets.
